TRIO Honor Society

Mission Statement

The University of Florida TRiO Honor Society is a student-led organization consisting of UF TRiO Scholars who maintain academic excellence. TRiO Scholars eligible to participate have achieved the academic qualifications listed below and are committed to the TRiO mission exemplified by continued Excellence, Scholarship, Leadership, Ingenuity, and Service.

Overview:

The UF TRiO Honor Society recognizes the academic excellence achieved by our TRiO Scholars, providing opportunities to develop professional and leadership skills while building a professional network of peers.

Qualifications:

• Full-time UF status
• Completed 24-85 credits prior to applying
• Hold at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA, and a GPA of at least 3.3 during the semester prior to applying for membership
• At least 1 semester of participation in a UF TRiO program
• Fully compliant with all UF TRiO polices
